When in need for a videographer to film, edit and colour grade your brand's storytelling idea, CAMCAT's service range covers all visual requirements for YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo, TikTok, and recently even began with some decent steps towards the cinema format including an actual appearance in Lisbon's most popular and iconic cinema "Sao Jorge".
CAMCAT's latest equipment upgrade (two 6K cinema cameras with Chrosziel matte box (double-tray) for tripod and one for gimbal use, one SONY A7IV, a 12ft crane and a professional heavy load gimbal stabilizer with follow focus) allow me to shoot in very high quality, as I am striving to add a cinematic look to your project at reasonably low rates. Why? For two reasons: Because a) I enjoy taking it seriously and b) your project deserves it. ;-)

"THE SOUTH BANK" is a short film by CAMCAT, nominated by
several film festivals around Europe (Multiple finalist's status in 2023)
THE SOUTH BANK
After meeting his client and being assigned a new job, the main character has to search an apartment that is being used as an interim storage of unknown matter and value. On his way through the apartment, the robber takes his time to examine a couple off-key objects and finds a way to increase his pay. Everything is going according to plan until the owner of the apartment returns home, which causes the robber's plans to take an unexpected turn.
In 2023 "THE SOUTH BANK" has been officially selected by six film festivals around Europe, three of which chose the film to participate in the finals.
Just a few weeks after Tim Vieira announced his Presidential candidate status for the 2026 elections, I was equally lucky and honoured to film one of the very first interviews with him. May Tim have a successful campaign and be able to put his vision for Portugal into practice! :-)
Filmmaker Christopher Michael Heisler, the founder of CAMCAT - Portugal, is also the founder of the ACC - Lisbon (Active Cinematographers Club), with the help of which actors, cinematographers, editors, sound designers and other cinema enthusiasts can explore, discuss, plan, exchange and just be social and have fun while practicing cinema for free.
